The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have confirmed the fixture details for the much-anticipated 2017/18 Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.
The fixtures will be played over two days: Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1.
On Saturday, March 31, Maritzburg United will host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Harry Gwala Stadium, while the only remaining lower division side Ubuntu Cape Town will entertain Free State Stars at the Athlone Stadium – both matches will kick-off at 15h30.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will renew their cup rivalry with Baroka FC in their first non-league meeting since the fateful quarter-final clash in the same tournament in 2011, when Bakgaga won 2-1at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth. Kick-off has this time around is set for 20h15.
On Sunday, Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns will square off at the Cape Town Stadium in what is sure to be the most highly anticipated fixture of the quarter-final stage.
The Citizens reached the quarter-finals after victories over Bidvest Wits and Orlando Pirates in the last 32 and last 16 stages, respectively, while the Brazilians got past Cape Town All Stars and EC Bees in the earlier stages of the competition. Kick-off for this fixture is 15:00.
Tickets for all four fixtures have been set at a standard rate of R40 for adults and R10 for kids under-12, available at Ticketpros outlets nationwide.
